Thanks to this process, there is a high level of minerals in the waters — chlorine, sodium magnesium, calcium, sulfur, fluorine, potassium, which stimulate a number of positive effects on the body: improving the condition of the skin, blood circulation, lymphatic circulation. For this reason they have been declared for public use since 1869.
DIVE INTO THE PAST
The spring waters of the FONTSANTA Hotel are legendary. One legend says that spring water was discovered and first used in the era of Ancient Rome. Another says that the amazing properties of spring water came across by chance in ancient times during an epidemic in Mallorca, its healing power restored the sick.
The famous physician Juan Andres Nieto Samaniego studied the chemical composition and healing properties of spring water. After his work, in May 1845, the first building with thermal baths was opened. It was an almost exact recreation of the real sources.
