1920 is a luxury speakeasy inspired by the glamour and mystery of the “Roaring Twenties”, where timeless sophistication meets contemporary chic, bringing Art Deco glamour, party glitz and a daring lifestyle to Dubai’s nightlife.
1920 is located on the 52nd floor of ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai International Financial Centre.

As you enter the bar, you pass by a glamorous row of high and intimate booths, designed for just two. Art Deco elements are present throughout the space — heavy velvet curtains that offer a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dubai skyline, including the famous Burj Khalifa, high red bar stools, fringed lampshades, a grand seven-story bar filled with glittering bottles, worthy of the Great Gatsby.

The drinks menu features sophisticated cocktails inspired by the twenties, as well as an exclusive, carefully selected selection of vintage champagnes, premium wines and spirits from around the world.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of crimson and gold, our evening commenced with an air of enchantment. The world seemed to hold its breath, enveloping us in a serene tranquility that was only heightened by the soulful strains of a mesmerizing musical program.
Every cocktail we savored was undoubtedly a creative concoction, standing as a testament to the pinnacle of the cocktail menu’s offerings:
DIANNE — Belvedere Vodka, Amaro Santoni, Cocchi Vermouth Rosa, Raspberry, Muyu Jasmine, Sparkling Wine (90 AED)
MADAME — Altos Tequila, Mandarin, Homemade Cordial, Dill Oil (55 AED)

In addition to drinks, you will be offered a tempting selection of bar snacks with a modern twist. We tried CAVIAR (Oscietra caviar, pomme duchesse, sour cream, chives, 108 AED) and SALMON TACOS (Homemade salmon gravlax, lemon-caper cream, 78 AED) — both strikingly delicious.
In the final act, we attempted two robust but ultimately dazzling cocktails:

In the shadowy, smoke-laden lounges of the 1890s, Walter Gibson found himself ensconced amidst a gathering of poets, thinkers, and dreamers at the Bohemian Club. With a glass in hand, his mind was a tempest of ideas, swirling more freely than the spirits that surrounded him.
This modern tribute to his creation, GIBSON —CÎROC Vodka, Cocchi Americano, and Tio Pepe, stirred with a deliberate absence of bitters, and crowned with a solitary pickled onion — sharp, bold, and unyielding (95 AED)
