ROSTER is an atmospheric bistro restaurant serving creative world cuisine, created with great love and the most responsible approach to the used ingredients.
ROSTER is located in a historic building constructed in 1832, opposite the main cathedral of the city of Turku (Finland).
ROSTER is headed by famous Finnish restaurateurs and chefs Kari “Kape” Aihinen and Olli Kolu, who boldly combine different flavor combinations from all over the world using the best raw ingredients.
The interior of the restaurant designed by Finnish designer Aleksi Hautamäki combines a vintage atmosphere with modern design respecting the traditions of the building where ROSTER is located. Complementing the ambiance is the Magazine Contemporary gallery, serviced by a contemporary art magazine and located next door.
The two-storied restaurant with 80 seats, with a cocktail bar, open kitchen and a summer sun terrace has become one of the most popular and favorite places for dining out in Turku.

“We want to offer the guests delicious and luxurious dishes on a plate, but without unnecessary formalities, — says founder and brand chef Kari Aihinen, — our menu always includes options for meat-lovers, fish and vegetarian dishes. We also do not forget about lactose and gluten-free diets”.
Four-course menu “KAPE FIX” (52 €), which traces the gastronomic philosophy of ROSTER, is very popular among the guests and in addition you can order a specially selected Wine pairing (45 €).

In addition to the set-menu, ROSTER à la carte list consists of the best classics of the restaurant, prepared with the freshest ingredients of the current season, therefore the menu is updated very frequently.
You can start your lunch or dinner with classic hit-starters like Beef Tartare, which is always on the menu in different taste-variations.
The Mains section always contains fish and meat positions, for example: Catch of The Day — smoked white fish, cabbage stew and capers
And for meat lovers — Beef X Salsify — beef flank steak, salsify purée and thyme-red wine sauce.
ROSTER pays special attention to drinks, carefully selecting them for each dish.
In the wine list you can also find interesting positions from different parts of the world, for example, dry white wine Klevener de Heiligenstein, Pierre Sparr, 2017, France.
Lovers of alcoholic mixes will be happy to prepare Cocktails with different tastes and stories.
Among desserts there are options for light completion — Xante ‘, Xante’! — Xante ‘marinated pear, pear sorbet and almond crumble;
Or a more intense in taste variation like winter Chocolate Roots — chocolate cake, quark sherbet and celeriac caramel.
