Patisserie Teemu Aura is a confectionery-bakery that creates delicious and noble handcrafted delicacies from high quality ingredients for everyday life and celebrations.
Patisserie Teemu Aura was opened on Christmas Eve in 2011 in Hakaniemi area in Helsinki by the restaurateur and chef Teemu Aura, and to this day delights and surprises with its creative approach to each product.
“At the core of our project are passionate employees and loyal customers who make us create something new and different every day,” — says Teemu Aura. — While developing each product, we are guided by our own “creative madness”.
In the mornings a small but very cozy cafe-pastry shop, dominated by pleasant pink-gray tones, is filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries.

“We believe that one of the best foods on earth is fresh crispy bread,” — Teemu says, “with the best emotions in it. The soul of our bread is a leaven that has been used since the very beginning of our history. Making bread is not difficult, but it takes time, good quality ingredients and, most importantly, a lot of love”.
All Bread is handcrafted. Careful initialisation, hand warming up of the dough by kneading and folding, and long raising of the dough provide it with perfect texture and strength. And the secret of the crispy crust is baking bread in a hot steaming oven with a stone grate.
Among super-hits of Patisserie assortment — delicious and aromatic buns with cottage cheese and cardamom — Kardemummarahkapulla, as well as Kanelikierre with cinnamon, seasonal —with apple, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla cream — Omena Inkivääri Stock Bun, delicious classic Croissant and Mantelicroissant.
Also, special delicacies are made for each season, for example, for Christmas and New Year’s — favorite Finnish pastry delicacy Jolutorttu with various jam-fillings.
“We approach the rest of our products with the same passion. We are creative and uncompromising craftsmen and want to offer our guests the most daring and creative world of taste”, — smiles Teemu.
