Boutique Hotel F6, located in the heart of Helsinki at Fabianinkatu 6, welcomes its guests with elegant nordic luxury and warmth of homish comfort.
The name of the hotel is directly inspired by its name: F — the first letter of the street, 6 — the house number
All around
Just a short walk from the hotel leads to all the city’s main attractions, as well as the picturesque Esplanade Park, one of the most popular place among locals and tourists surrounded by numerous cafes, restaurants and shops.
The original design and sophisticated style are present in the entire interior of the hotel as well as in the rooms, while the feeling of home relaxation doesn’t leave the guest even for a second.
As the owner of the hotel Roni Saari says: “Our hotel is a family business created by my parents and me. Later my eldest son will join us, he’s currently serving in the army, but already has got an experience in working at the reception.”
Cheerful Hotel F6 Manager Sara Virkkala with great professionalism and love for her work will introduce you to the hotel and tell you about all the benefits of staying at F6. “We treat each guest with great attention and love, we try to do everything possible to make your stay within our walls comfortable and memorable”, — tells Sara.
“Since our hotel is run by family, the entire staff of the hotel has been like one big family. When we started creating this project, our task was to make it as convenient as possible, with high-quality service — such where the guest would feel comfortable as at home.
“This approach makes our hotel not just a hotel, but a place that looks like a big cozy house”, — tells Roni.
Exceptionally high-quality and environmentally friendly materials were used in creating the interior. It is worth noting that the whole F6 team is very sensitive to environmental issues and this can be seen in all its activities. Even the electricity supplied to the hotel is generated by wind and hydroelectric power plants.
Feels like Home
The hotel has 66 rooms of three categories: Standart, Superior, Deluxe. At the end of October 2020 is planned to open 10 more rooms.
All room spaces are designed in Art Nouveau style and equipped with high-tech devices. Each room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, digital TV, electric kettle (Deluxe also has a Nespresso coffee machine), bathrobe and slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, minibar, branded bath perfumes.
The Superior Room can be booked on request with a French balcony with the hotel’s courtyard view.
Finnish Morning
A genuine home-style Finnish breakfast buffet is served every morning in hotel’s bar space.
And it’s accompanied by dishes from the legendary Finnish brand Marimekko, which is the special pride of the hotel.
“Although the assortment of breakfast is not so big, all products are organic from our local producers (we have eight different suppliers): vegetables, salads, eggs, cold meats, cheeses, pastry & bread, coffee, tea, juices. Milk and yoghurts are all lactose-free and suitable for everyone” — says Food & Beverage director Seija Siimes.
“Every day we get fresh bread from Levain bakery. Some items we bake ourselves, for example croissants”.
Seija: “We try to diversify some of the cheese and meat positions, fish, pastries, fruits daily.”
The Key to Helsinki

With his rich experience in hospitality business, Riku is also a founder of Helsinki Bike Tours, which’s become a Helsinki Travel Award winner.
Riku Nurminen: “I personally use my bike a lot, even on my way to work (smiles). I wanted to create such a program so during the trip guests could get acquainted with the most interesting places of the city, where not everyone dares to go on foot. I have developed several interesting routes, also there are longer ones during which you can take a coffee break.”
In addition to bicycles, F6 has a gym open 24/7, so every guest can visit it at any convenient time. The gym is equipped with treadmills, cross-trainer, exercise bike, dumbbells and barbells.
If you prefer a more relaxing holiday with a book or a newspaper over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, then you can escape from the bustle of the city in the cozy octagon courtyard of the hotel.
And immediately behind you can find a spacious summer lawn with a greenhouse, where the owner of the hotel Mia grows various herbs for the kitchen and Runar bar.
Runar Bar
Named after the Finnish architect Runar Finnilä and awarded three times in a row the Best Bar in Finland, Runar Bar is a place where you always feel welcome, not just a visitor.
The atmosphere of the bar is enveloping you in its mystery with touch of underground, muted neon lights and warm hospitality.
The design of the bar like the rest of the hotel is made in modern style with elements of Finnish culture. Here you can relax alone listening to the sounds of a well-chosen track list or take fun in a noisy company.

A team of bartenders headed by Juri Kautto will skillfully prepare their extraordinary & impressive signature cocktails and mixes, surprising the guest with unusual tastes and combinations.

Tropical Fruit — cocktail based on Plantation Rum with a light vanilla aroma;

Restaurant “on board”
The F6 does not have its own restaurant, that’s why the hotel tightly co-works with food delivery service WOLT: you can easily choose and order gourmet meals from hundreds of the best restaurants in the city. Meals will be delivered to the Hotel’s reception and the staff will bring them on a tray to you. Special tablets with delivery site and restaurant menus are available in each room.
In 2019 Hotel F6 won a TripAdvisor Award for #1 Travel’s Choice.
